How employee satisfaction can be enhanced within an organisation


Human resources can be considered as the most significant types of resource within an organization since they urge to drive the business strategies into practice. Therefore, it can be identified that the employee performance would create direct implications towards the entire business efficiency. Hence, getting more employee contribution to the business operations is essential in order to enhance the satisfaction level of employees where following methods can be used as the initiatives in order to improve overall employee satisfaction(Rabia Karimi, et al., 2011)(XhavitIslami, et al., 2018; Birt, 2022).

Training and investment

It is required to provide effective training programmes focusing on employees in order to enhance overall skills and competencies of the employees which creates positive outcomes for the organization and to enhance internal fulfillment of the employees.

Employee recognition

Contribution to the company needs to be properly identified and rewarded for the company in order to ensure that employee satisfaction

Employee autonomy

Employee independence and divisional autonomy needs to be improved in order to create satisfaction in employees’ minds and to let them to feel them as a part of the organization.

Employee Engagement

It is vital to engage employees for the decision making processes as well as for planning procedures in order to obtain an active participation of the employees towards the organisational practices.

Rewarding process

It is vital to design a proper and transparent rewarding procedures within the organization where it should be linked with the goal setting process as well as the actual performance achievements.

Career progression

Employee succession planning has got a major significance in enhancing the motivation as well as the satisfaction regarding the job. Therefore, stipulatedmilestones of the employment needs to be identified by the organization where stipulated career advancements to e identified for each employee along with the time period.
