How an effective team is formed by an organization?


Team work is essential for any organization in order to drive the business operations in an effective manner while creating a strong synergy within the team. Therefore, selection of the best possible team is significant to gain the optimum contribution to the organizational activities(mindtools.com, 2022).

When selecting the team, the team members should have different skills and competencies which would be beneficial in handling numerous challenges emerged to the company for the project(asana.com, 2021).

Therefore, there are several characteristics should be prevailing within an organization where such the team members should have following characteristics(belbin.com, 2022).


Chairman

There should be a team member who should hold overall responsibility over the team where the control over entire functions are undertaken while driving the objectives. Further, he should be a good communicator.

Shaper

A person with an ability to drive the business activities with a challenging and aggressive manner should be available

Evaluator

A person who is good at critical evaluation as well as problem analysis is required in order to improve the team momentum and providing solutions for challenges.

Completer

There should be a person who maintains a sense of urgency in a project while having a self-discipline.

Company Worker

A person who is good at converting ideas into practice needs to be available for a team to drive business more effectively.

Resource investigator

He is Interested in making contacts and bringing new ideas into.

Plant

A person who breaks away from established ways of doing things and puts forward original ideas needs to be available within an organization.

Team worker

There should also be a team worker within the company in order to listen and be supportive to achieve desired objectives.

Specialist

A person with good technical skills and knowledge pertaining to several business areas is essential to align the team functions with organizational strategies.
